Wings For Life World Run
Running For Those Who Can't - Your support makes a difference!
Wings for Life is an international not-for-profit spinal cord research foundation. Their mission is to find a cure for spinal cord injury. They fund world-class scientific research and clinical trials around the globe aimed at healing the injured spinal cord.
Globally, the fun gets underway when local races start simultaneously - whether it's day or night, spring or autumn - at 11am UTC, and 30 minutes later, Catcher Cars start to chase the racers, slowly but surely, until they pass all of the participants and end their race. There's no static finish line, no set distance. Everyone finishes. And the last female and male athlete to be caught by the Catcher Cars will be awarded the title of Global Wings for Life World Run Champions.
Sounds great, doesn't it! Register on the official Wings For Life World Run website here.
